Does anyone know how to get in contact with him? There was a book that he put out in the 80`s about scape hunting. Thanks Don
Roger Rothhaar 3886 Marion-Melmore Street Oceola,44860 Try this adress I have all his books.
I don't have his phone number anymore, but if you can get it give him a call. Very helpful and extremely interesting guy to talk to. The man knows whitetails!
longbowben: If that is his Ohio address it is incorrect as he moved to Iowa a while back. Ryan is on here once in a while and he may provide the info if Roger doesn't mind.
Your right thats the addres that i ordered my books from .But he did move.Ryan was just on im going to look up the post 160 snuffers.
I sent Ryan a pm .
Thanks for the info, I got his address last night. HE did move to Iowa. Don
The book you want is "Whitetail Magic", which is my favorite whitetail-related book. It caused me to move to the midwest to experience some of the things described by Roger, and I did just that (except the kills of huge bucks - I had my chances, just wasn't good enough).
Roger is still in love with whitetails and likes to talk and visit with like-minded bowhunters. I was bowhunting turkeys in Iowa several springs back and called him up and asked to visit. He told me to come over and we talked for many hours, watching some of his videos of bucks on his property and checking out his collection of shed antlers. It was so fun we did it again the next day! I sure miss his articles in the PBS magazine - wish he'd do one more book!
