I am looking into building my own arrows and have a very beginner question. Can the jigs be adjusted to change the degree of helical on an arrow?
Why right vs. left helical?
yes you can switch offset
most right handed shooters use left wing to help get the arrow to move away from the riser.
If using screw in points right wing would be better. keeps points tight.
Doesn't matter which wing you use. However, as Mystic points out, right wing will screw in inserts, rather than unscrew them, if you're using aluminum or carbon. Another reason for using right wing would be to match the right wing bevel of a single bevel head like the Grizzly. Spinning the shaft in the same direction as the bevel greatly increases penetration.
