That would've been a great choice for glass for the 58's! What a beautiful bow!

In case you didn't know, Knoblock Hardware was a long time Bear Archery dealer in Flint Michigan. They are still in business today and carry a few traditional archery supplies along with their hardware items.

That is a cool one Dave, thanks for the pics.

Okay this bow intrigues me.
I've always thought Kodiaks built with the 57 shaped riser and white glass probably came early in 58 or late in 57. We often refer to them as "white-glass 57s"
This bow has that same riser as a 57 with no "sow-belly", but a glass color that would indicate a late 58 early 59 Kodiak.
Perhaps some of the 57 forms were used throughout 58.
I'm confused. What makes this a 58 Kodiak? Is there something here I'm missing.
In any case it is very very cool.
Thanks for sharing these special bows Dave.

Thanks Dave, that works for me. I assumed it was a serial number issue along with the glass color. It's very interesting and a looker for sure.

Ok now I'm even more confused...I thought the white glass on 57 form were either a late 57 or an early 58. But your saying your serial number is late 58? I have a white glass on 57 form serial number EC 839 ??? (http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/ac60/Pack-animal/IMAG5367.jpg)

My white glass on a 57 form has serial number ED825.

It's still about the coolest 57-58 Kodiak I've ever seen regardless of when it was made.
Thanks for sharing it Dave
