Title: Wing Falcon
Post by: grouse11 on September 24, 2012, 02:39:00 PM
Just picked up a Wing Falcon at an auction for $20. It was dirty but cleaned up nice with just a few blemishes in the finish. The specs are 62" 38# and the serial number is F7-1543. Can anyone tell me the year that it was made?  Also, what is the value, I was thinking 60-80 leaning more towards 80.

However, I don't think I'll sell it because of how amazing it shoots. I put a string on it and a new rest and was stacking arrows in a 3" circle at 18 yards. It is also fast, I may just have to take it deer hunting this year.

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Does the label say Wing, division of Head Ski, AMF, or just plain Wing Archery?

There is no head ski or AMF. Just wing archery company. Does this date it before 1968?

Prior to just wing archery there is a sticker logo which says Houston tx these are the early wings, so three possible generations. I have two falcons one is my first bow when I
Was 12 in the late 60s when my wife became an archer I got her one a bit lighter  these are great shooting bows very easy in the hand and my favorite light # bow
