Very very excited to share that I have finally found a Stickbowman, and won it on the big site. No it's not a bow, but rather a Field notes that is signed by Fred with a stickbowman, Glen St. Charles, Bob Kelly (former Bear president) and a name that I can't make out. Thank all of you for not finding the listing, and allowing me to move in for the kill. ;o) If someone on here would give me an E mail address to send a picture and post it under this topic. I would appreciate it. For now I will send a link

If you can post a link, it's only another step to post a picture.

Congratulations Shane - very nice - especially with the other signatures!

Perhaps it's Frank Scott's signature????
Great find for sure.

That's wonderful Shane. Great find!

On a winning streak! Just snagged a nice knife and file set with sheath as a buy it now as soon as it hit the big site.
-
Did Frank Scott print his writing like Fred always did, and then sign his last name?
-
No

I saw that sellers other item as soon as it hit the auction, and went to see his knife set and it was already gone, now I know the rest of the story. Congrats on a big week of collecting Shane.

Shane, I posted the picture on another site where others probably have items signed by Frank Scott. I'll let you know if I get any hit's to it.

Thank you,
Once again I have not figured out how to get my pics on tradgang. I can't believe this; I am usually very good with any computer issues.
-
Shane, I sent an email to you with Franks signature on a notorized document. I hope this helps you out.

Thank you Ray. It's unfortunate that the previous owner of the book had to be taken to assistedliving. I would have realy liked to talk to him. I have heard from someone that he may have writen for Bowhunter.

Found a Bonus while thumbing through the book. Fred signed it again on the page with the little Delta, and Bob Kelly signed it twice more next to two of his pictures.

More good finds,
I would like the thank Tom Phillips for the Great deal on the Grousehaven patch, and the Tape of Fred Bear. The knife set was a great steal!

Pat and Rodger Stewart were familiar names in the bowhunting world back in the '80's. Rodger did occassionally write a story or two for Bowhunter Magazine. I believe they moved from Colorado to Alaska at some point, and were in a bowhunting video with Steve Gorr. Both were accomplished bowhunters. I met them once and they seemed to be very nice people. If you contact Steve Gorr at Cascade Archery, I'm sure he could give you plenty of information and stories about the Stewarts.

Knobby, Thank you very much. I actually received a msg from Their daughter Karen on stickbow. I replied and have yet to hear back from her. Was in hopes that she could solve the mystery signature. I was told by the seller of the book that the Stewarts lived in Alaska, moved to CO, and then to Idaho.
