I just picked up a solid fiberglass Ben Pearson take down longbow 55# ...leather grip ...anyone have a ballpark figure of its value....it is in great shape....has the number 304 on the lower riser...thanks ; Doug

I have several and have sold several. I have sold them for as little as 40.00 and as much as 80.00. The higher price was with the original box.

I believe the 304 is a maple core, completely wrapped in fiberglass. Pretty good bow actually, and worth more than $80.00. There was a Pearson ad that ran in the 50's with none other than Howard Hill endorsing this model as I recall.

thanks ...it's a first for me....if I sent you a picture of it do you think you could tell me any more about it ? thanks for your time ; Doug

I have had several of them, but I believe that they were all fiberglass. The last one I sold to a lady who put a wild camo pattern on it. As I recall it seems they had fair cast but a good amount of hand shock. Can't remember what was paid for it but I sold it for $40.00. It was in fair to good condition. If it has a maple core that would probably make it more valuable.
