Greetings All,

Have a few bows I need help with...First one is easy...It's a Damon Howatt Hi-Speed serial number 2589 amo 54"...any Idea what year this is?

Based upon the curved stripe in the riser and serial beginning with a "2", I think it's a 1972 version.

This may sound crazy but are these good shooting bows?  I'm a lefty and this is a righty?  I'm doing a little research for a friend on these bows listed.

IMO, they are fine shooting bows with an excellent reputation.  Those curved stripe versions are popular for their looks, grip, and shooting attributes.  In nice shape, they generally sell in the $150-200 range.
