Title: Ever Heard of This Bow
Post by: Spitfire Htr on July 07, 2012, 02:57:00 PM
An older gentleman I know in Arkansas said he had an old recurve bow that he would give me. He doesn't know who made it, all he said was that it had APEX 6 on it, then a 50 and a 60. Sorry I don't have any pics, he don't do that techno stuff. Maybe it will ring a bell with someone.
Thanks and God Bless, Steve

The Apex bows were made by Ben Pearson

I really don't care what it's worth but, would it make a descent hunting bow?

There was an Apex #6 on the auction site recently. It looked just like a Pearson Mustang from the late '60s, with one color wood and brown glass. Your friend's bow is probably 50 pounds and 60" long.

Yes, it would make a great hunting bow. You'll be pleased.
