Title: Help I.D. this Bear Super Magnum's age
Post by: ncheels on July 06, 2012, 07:56:00 AM
A friend just gave me this Bear Super Magnum 48.  Based on these photos, can someone tell me the exact year of the bow?  Thanks.

Thanks.
Next, the sides of the riser have some residue.  Kind of a tape-like residue.  What is the best, safest way to clean up the riser without affecting the finish and shine?

This bow is in immaculate condition, save for this residue.  Not one scratch anywhere and I want to keep it that way.

Goof Off or Goo-Gone works good for that.

Thanks.  Would that just be the spray version at Walmart?  Or is there a specific one that's better?

Sometimes you can find one or the other at the Dollar Store. I've used both to remove adhesive residue from bows I have cleaned up.

A little WD-40 also works.
