Title: French Oil
Post by: Big Fisherman on June 30, 2012, 10:39:00 AM
My friend asked about something called French Oil.  He said it was something made up of linseed oil and other products, which supposedly was a great coating for wooden arrows.

French polish is half linseed oil and half shellac, I believe.  Used on gunstocks a lot back in the day.
