I have a question for the Bear historians/aficionados. Are all of the Bear Premium Hunting sights found on the mid-late 60s Tamerlanes and the other Bear bows that used them in that period the same in dimension? Will they all interchange? I've bought a Tamerlane that has the coverplate and I think I'd like to have it equipped with the sight. Thank you all, 'preciate any help!

OK, let me try it this way. Would anyone who has a Tamerlane with the Bear premium Hunting sight do me the favor of measuring to mounting screw holes so I can compare to one I'm looking at? I sure would appreciate it!

First off. The Tamerlane does not use the premier "Hunting site". It uses the 7" "Premier Target sight" which has one sliding apperture. The Hunting site is a five in that is used on hunting bow, usually with three pins.
I can't get to min right now to measure the distance between the screw holds, but if yours has the blank plate on it, it will accept the 7" Target sight.
Just make sure you are nat asing info about the "hunting site".
Keep an eye on E8AY. you will see them there from time to time.

I sure do thank you PAPALAPIN, and appreciate the correction. I have seen the Premium Hunting sight on Fleabay and, since your correction, I may have a source for the Target sight. Thanks again! Longrifle
