Title: Curious about this vintage broadhead.

This sold for $275 on fleabay recently and I only saw the ad by accident.  It did not provide any info about the head - manufacturer, date, model, etc.  I'm obviously not a collector, but can someone fill in the blank on this one?

The lucky seller had no idea that he had a very rare 1960 Fleetwood Western 2.

These were made in Denver Colorado. There was this 2 blade and also the more common 4 blade. All of them that are in collections have never been sharpened. There was not an edge put on them from the factory as they were so narrow that putting an edge on them would cause grinding on the ferrule. I don't think they were ever advertised for sale. It's early in the day so this could be my first wrong statement of the day.

These broadheads look very much like the one in the pic but are stamped "Hilbre R"

The only way it "looks" like the Fleetwood is that it has barbs. There are probably hundreds in collections that have barbs. The Hilbre has a nylon ferrule.
