Title: Copperhead broadhead V Notch Tip
Post by: PhilNY on June 05, 2012, 05:54:00 PM
Found a few of these in really great shape, but they look like small game heads and not broadheads due to the notch. I'll get pic's later, but wondered if anyone ever saw the funny inverted notch cut from the tip?

Black Copperhead made the V-Notch stamped with Archer or Target and made a round tip stamped Target. They were actually designed for target shooting    :archer2:

Yup looks like it and there were some 3 blade ones also that had the notch but were semi sharpened. Would a collector want these or should I just shoot stumps with them?
If they are rare I hate to waste them.

Hill' Hornets made a target head with three blades, lighty sharpened, and a notched tip.

None of these are rare but are good heads to have in the collection.

Thank you. Thats what it looked like but the lighting was bad so I'll check for writing when I get back, they were pretty shiney and never used.
I'll put up a picture when I get one.
