I got this this WING at a yard sale today.I thought it was a little different I never seen one like it.It looks like a RED WING HUNTER to me but the bow reads LAMAR'S HUNTER where the RED WING decal should be and also the serial number reads LH instead of RH OR RW.They look to be factory I don't know.Lower limb reads AMF WING.It also came with a few arrows which are marked LAMAR'S ARCHERY.Is it that someone just added a decal and changed the serial number or is it a different model WING had I just never seen these markings before. Not really up to date on my WING bows. What do you think? Thanks for any info. Very cool. I have no idea, but could it have been made specially for an archery shop (Lamar's Archery) Bear did that on some level that I know of.

ceme24 is probably correct. Bear, Pearson, made bows for Sears, and Wards. Howatt made bows for Kittrdge and Jack Howard.
I would like to see a closer photo of the points on the arrows and the labels. Aluminum or fiberglass?
The points almost look to be Wasp heads jammed onto a broadhead adapter?

Bear made bows in the 1980's for a local shop here in Canton, OH. They were called "Buckeye Hunter" if I recall correctly. As with your AMF there was indication it was a Bear on it but the main decals were not. I think the archery shops name was on them as well if I remember right on that.

Wing made bows for archery shops and marked them with the shop's name, one you see from time to time is Windy City Archery Chicago. Usually red wing hunters marked that way.

Thanks for the info.I just never seen one marked like that.I zipped a few out of it today,it surprised me,very nice shooter, pretty quick for a 45#er.

Here's a pic of the points, not sure what they are.The arrows are marked K7 and are fiberglass. (http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv192/DAVE1275/100_4709.jpg)

Yup those look like an early wasp without the blades, the slots look to be filled with dirt, not really worth much. Mine were orange and I cant remember if the blue were a different weight or just a different year from the orange ones.
I wouldn't bother to hunt with them, just get some Wensel woodsmans os some magnus heads, lots of good ones that are probably far superior to those wasps.
