Picked up this bow a few days ago and while in a local shop getting arrows cut, someone asked to look at it. They thought it might be an old Eicholtz and suggested I don't shoot it as it might be valuable. I was looking for a usable bow darn it, so just wanted a little help on the reality of this.
marks as follows:
"Dana"
E019
43 lb @ 30"
Thanks In Advance!

Tony,
Looks like and marked like one that I have...Joe Fries . But mine is signed by Joe under the stats.
Eicholtz I have are marked different..markings are stamped in the side of the bow and have a decal...but what do I know... Hink

Don't know but agree with Hink, not Eicholtz

I'll take some better photos and post them, having trouble posting them online here for some reason?

OK, Updated photos in hopes of better identifying this recurve.

Might be a Barr, boyers name is Jerry Barr from California late 50's early 60's
I have 2, I think mine are called Apaches

'Valuable' is a very misused and overused term when talking about old stuff. People shoot all kinds of 'valuable' bows.

Kutrbel,
Got any pic's of yours you can post.
Bjorn,
you are right, this might be trash to those who have a 2k bow. I haven't gotten to that realm just yet, but never say never right?
More importantly, I thought there might be worthwhile history on it more than anything, perhaps not.
