A friend has a Ben Pearson 304 55# Take Down with a case.Just wondering what the year and value might be?

The year is mid 50's. Value is a toss up. I have a few and have sold some in the past. When they are in the original box they have more collector value. Without the original box 30.00-55.00. With the box 55.00-75.00
