Hope I sized it right.
Curious if these bows at   such a low draw weight were made and used for teaching proper form or determaning archers draw lenght?. Ser#   8W161 AMO 62" 0#.
under the strike plate writing looks to be maybe 4#@ ??.
Kinda hard to read. I just had back surgury few days ago. I just been waiting weeks to shoot. and this would be a bow I might beable to handle while healing up.
Anybody got any 0# bows or info.?
very sorry if over sized, maybe the mods could shrink it if over sized,or I will start over. Any and all info always
appreciated.

Very interesting but I think you will need to go back and resize it is a very big picture. There is a tutorial under the photography section.

As mentioned about back problems.  Just glad I have a bow that I can get outside and send some arrows threw. What ever Bear Archery made these low # bows for in maybe 1968? or later.  Feel blessed they did. Great stress relief, and dont even care if I miss targets. smooth shooter and aim high.   :laughing:

Hope your back heals well.

I have not hear dof one being that low in poundage but....

From what I could find is, they were often made for schools and scouts or other archery programs.  

I had a ranger, It was a great shooting bow. My buddy now is shooting it!   :thumbsup:

Bear Trainer

I am not sure if the bow was used to measure draw length or for work on form as the name somewhat indicates. Either way it is pretty cool.

Limbs are VERY Thin. The one pic shows the limbs next to a Little Bear. The trainer doesn't have wood core limbs. They are three thin layers of fiberglass.

Nick sweet looking bow. Has it been refinished or just well takin care of?.  I seen one on the big auction site that had the 5# black stencil under the finish. I think it was around 80 bucks and nobody snagged it.
I need to bring it by real bdocs and scale it. Cant clearly see what Bear Archery marked it under strike plate.
Hopefully there will be more folks postin pics and info.
Shooting with my kids yesterday using this bow was alot of fun. Reminded me of the old lawn darts.  We made a large circle with garden hose and was flight shootin across the yard. Certainly was alot of fun.  Keep the info coming.    :archer2:
