Title: Questions on Wood C Riser
Post by: Larry m on April 23, 2012, 04:25:00 PM
Picked this up recently and over all very nice but needs a little work. The holes on the back side of the sight window, I believe are factory but missing the screws. I'm considering filling and blending in the smaller of the two as I don't think I can find any original replacements. Opinions appreciated here!

From the info I have available this is a type 1 early 70's Riser. Only 300 made! Cool.. With no. 1 limbs I have a nice shooting 66" bow.      (http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/toxo-collector/Articles196.jpg)    (http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/toxo-collector/Articles197.jpg)     (http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/toxo-collector/Articles200.jpg)     (http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/toxo-collector/Articles199.jpg)

Larry,

The screw holes are factory. I would leave them. I will take a screw out of one of my bows and see if I can't find a match locally.

The sights that work for that hole pattern are the bear - Jeffery Omni bowsight 6300 model or later model number 7105. It also was frist set up for the the Reynolds sight base, came with and without an extension bar.
