Have a fun trip to the beach. I was just wondering how you were doing, just put on of your orange barred rests on one of my bows last night.

I was just shooting one of your feathered rests today on my Jack Howard. Really makes for a smooth shot. Looks cool too.

Precurve-glad that Jack Howard is working for you!!

Bjorn;
Thanks again many times over for selling the Jack Howard to me! That is the nicest shooting bow I've ever had.
What a crime that bow line stopped with Jack's passing.

Daryl, Been shooting one on a Holcomb 59' for three years now...plenty of life left in that one!! Probably 2000-2500 shots across that one. Just put one on another Holcomb 59' late last year. Looking forward to trying to wear it out as well....REMARKABLY durable for a seemingly fragile rest....love em'...John

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes and compliments. I'm always humbled when I hear about and see some of the bows my rests are on.
John, just out of curiosity, what color is that rest you are trying to wear out? I've found the natural barred rests to be the most durable for me. It seems the dyeing process takes alot out of feathers. I've attempted to replace those natural oils lost with dyed feathers but I just cant find a combo im happy with.
I also glue my rests straight to the arrow shelf with a good contact cement. The adhesive backing is just easier for folks to deal with.

Yup, you've got it...it's a "natural" one. The other one is Red that I just put on my other bow last year. My friend Brian Reeder has been shooting a red one for almost as long as my natural......good wear none the less. He has changed that one out though ..... late last year.We both used the backing you provide with the feather rest....NO problems with that either.Make sure if you are reading this and decide to try one that you tell Daryl "right" or "left" hand........I still have 4 spares Daryl...great stuff. The only way to fly on a 59' repro OR original...many thanks...John
