My recent desire for a vintage Bear led me to this beautiful 66 Kodiak. I can't tell you how happy I am with this bow. Aside from two plugged sight holes in the riser she is in excellent condition and man does she shoot!! Take a look..

I think the 66 is one of the nicer looking of the Kodiak line. Good for you, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Fred - very nice 66. Congrats!
-
I had one that I traded,it is really a beauty!
-
Fred - I've got one that could be your bow's twin. The bow shoots great for me - maybe not as snappy as my '62 Kodiak but a very consistent shooter and built to take whatever any hunt I've taken it on can dish out :)

I just received a Bear leather top spring arm quiver for it. Really looks cool. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

My compliments. Those Kodiaks are great bows. Mine is 52# and 64" long. Seems mine just finds the target no matter what. Just got through shooting it in a stiff wind and it still grouped those cedar arrows where it counted. It's going to be neat hunting this year with a bow that is 46 years old.
Good Luck,
Ross

hope that quiver don't leave a mark.....looks good !!!
-
Doug, I had my concerns but I've shot it quite a bit and then took the quiver off to see if it left any marks and it did not. I'm waiting on some wood arrows that Dave Lawson is making me for it to go along with the vintage Bear BH's I just picked up.

Very nice!! Congratulations! I put the soft side of velcro on spring arms just for my own peace of mind. Plus I think it helps make them a little quieter.
That bow does look good with the brown leather top!
