I picked up a A risor that has a little slop in the lower limb when the bow isn't strung. I have a newer wood risor that is snug with the same limbs. Is there a way to tighten up this latch? The bow does shoot fine.
There looks to be two rubber pressure points inside the socket. Can these pressure points be adjusted out to take out the slop?

You should check the leather on the latch. The leather is the only way to make an adjustment on the latch. It may need to be a touch thicker due to age and compression. The rubber bumpers are not adjustable. They just press into a hole until the head bottoms out.

As long as they don't rattle when you shoot, it should not be an issue.. I agree on the leather.

Thanks so much for your insight.
Do you know if replacement leather is available? Or is that something that you have to have made.
