Title: Cleaning up a 1969 Super Kodiak
Post by: Mojostick on January 27, 2012, 11:17:00 PM
I recently picked up a great 1969 Super Kodiak. The bow is sweet, all black/phenolic. I was just wondering if there was any wax/spray that would clean up finger prints and make the bow "pop" a little more.
Thanks.

A cleaner car wax works well, it will remove all the light scratches and make her shine..Meguiar's works great

Or furniture polish if it is already pretty scratch free.  If it has light scratches I use toothpaste, but use the white gritty stuff not the gel.

I looked up the bowdoc polish and it comes up as item not found. I know it's the E auction site. Maybe email a good link to me if you have it.

Any good quality paste wax works well.

Try some Scratch Out for cars and some elbow grease first and then some good paste wax.

Congrats. The 69 SK is the classiest looking one ever. Paste wax is all you need.
