A friend and I have two identical, except for length, Kodiak bows. One is 56 inch the other is a 60 inch bow. Both have maple risers same as the 1957 and 1958 Kodiaks. Both have white glass limbs as on the 1958 Kodiak sowbelly bows but have a tapered riser same as the 1957 Kodiak bows. Both bows have serial numbers beginning with the letters ED. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if these bows were made in 1957 or 1958? Thanks, Dave the windsurfer

The 58 has a somewhat protruding belly at the sight window and a somewhat rounded shelf. The 57 had a flatter shelf and narrower not protruding belly. Both can be found with white glass.
