I've got this awhile back on auction and with it being like it was, just hung it up.
its 60", 55@28
I'm wondering if its possible to take it down to 45@28 by narrowing the limbs.
upperfade 1 3/8
10" out 1 1/4
uppertip 7/8
lowerfade 1 7/16
10" out 1 1/4
lowertip 13/16

both tips look real wide to me

I've reduced weight by narrowing limbs, but you have to take a bunch off each side to reduce by 10 pounds. You may have to sand the limbs a bit to get all of the 10 pounds off.-Dave

If your measurments are correct the bow is not very symetrical. And the tips are way wider than they need to be.It would be hard to reshape the limb taper without using a pattern and finding the center of the bow to remark it. If that could be acomplished I would think that much weight would be easy to get off.
Thanks, all of this is just what I was hoping to here. Its not symetrical and the tips are huge so Im going to give it a try. I think I can do it fairly easy as far as finding center and marking out something. I dont much care how it looks when Im done as long as I can draw it. :bigsmyl:
