I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction on a box of arrows I have. Earlier this year, I traded for a box, 1 gross, of Ben Pearson arrows. On the box are several labels (see photos below), including one that shows the box was a special order and was to be sent to 20th Century Fox studios in Los Angeles. The package has to be pre-64 because there are no zip codes. I think they may have been for use on a movie set-I'm curious to know which movie.
I have sent 2 e-mails to Fox, asking to be directed to a studio historian-no reponses. Am I asking the wrong question, or the wrong person (several departments are listed, but nothing mentioning studio history)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Someone might be able to tell you the age of the arrows themselves or narrow down the year from the Pearson logo on the box. (too bad archery archives is gone, that site had that info)
I'd try the Hollywood Historical Society, see if you can rouse anyone's interest there. Another possibilty (a long shot) is try asking the CA hardware company - they're still in business.

If you could post some Pic's of the arrows that would help with the year....nice fine.......Hink

I dug around and found the data I printed out from Archery Archives. The logo and nocks point to 1963 or 64 as a date. From 1958-64 the logo used 789 broadhead and had "Where quality improves performance". In 1963, that phrase was dropped.
The arrows are very plain, POC with no paint of any sort, natural turkey feathers, light target points, and speed nocks (according to Archery Archives, these nocks were used starting in 1963).
