Title: New, Old Bow
Post by: Widow's Son on November 12, 2011, 10:47:00 PM
I just "won" a 1966 Kodiak 52# 64". Suppose to have been refurbed by BowDoc. Kinda got this bow by accident. It looks beautiful.  You guys think I'll be pleased with this bow. I have a 1970 circa Super K but have no experience with this particular model.  My Super K is 45# and I'm sure I will like the increase to 52#.

Don't want to interupt his work for sure. Actually feeling better about this purchase. Wasn't really looking for another bow but the price was right and oh well. Told the wife this morning and she was okay with it. That makes it better.

Got this bow in today and all I can say is wow!
If it shoots as good as it looks I may just retire all my other bows. Absolutely beautiful.

Bowdoc, you are the man.

Ross, 66 KODIAKS are all really nice bows to me. All of mine are real shooters. It is hard to resist not bidding when the price is right.  Now that you like that one so much, what happens next time.  :)  This is how collecting starts!  :)  53# pounds sounds heavy to me, I know I am always looking.  :)
