Title: Bear zippered takedown case ?
Post by: kuch on October 23, 2011, 05:36:00 PM
I would like to get one at some point. Can someone give me a little info such as : when were they made ( I would guess 1970 on but I don't know) . Were they separate or come as a set with takedowns? thanks for the info.

Chad there are 2 or 3 vintage bear take down cases listed for auction right now.The problem is I believe they are all for a C riser and one set of limbs not the short cases for the A and or B riser and holds two sets of limbs. The one you would want is the one I had my take down in while we were bear hunting last spring remember that one ? mine has the red liner and holds two sets of limbs ? there is also another case that is hard plastic and called the master case (pic of both soon) those are also a pretty nice case to have for your bear t/d's bd
