Although York was not considered best of the best, the Constellation was one of the most well made target bows ever. The woods used for it's Constellation were of the craziest, fantastic grain patterns. I don't know how many were made, my friend owned a PHENOMINAL specimen.
I have one on the workbench to be started this winter.
I'd love to see some if you've got 'em.

I have a few Thunderbolts and Crescents but no Constellation at this time. Hopefully one will come by to join the collection. Cool bows for sure. Those huge target bows from that period were really something.
