Probably the nicest Tamerlane I've ever seen is being sold on the big auction. I'm not buyin' it, but one of you guys might want to. Listed under 1963 Bear lady Tamerlane. Woodgrain is stunning, bow is MUSEUM quality. Check it out! Love to see one of us tradgangers get it.

It might be a 1964, but either way a beautiful year. Really nice rosewood those years, and the gorgeous cap design is over the top.
I have a right handed one, 42#.

Very Nice Bow but a hefty opener! Good luck to them with this economy!!!!

I'm with you on both parts...really nice bow, but a really nice starter price also. I don't know who he is, but he always lists some really slick bows. I bought a '66 Kodiak from him about a year ago and the wood is stunning...and just like most bows he sells, I paid a premium for it too!
I have a 66" 37# Tamerlane that isn't far from this one in looks, but I'd sure like to find a 64" about 47#. Really nice shooting bows.

Beautiful Bow! But I agree that is a '64.
I have a '63 66" I was thinking about selling. Maybe I will.
I also have a '64 66", but I don't think it is going anywhere. It is one of my favorites!

That was a nice bow, did it sell? I never understood that seller, he blocked me from bidding on his items, and I have never dealt with him. Could never figure that one out.

Hey Toad. He has shared his account with other members of his shooting club so if you have ever upset anyone in his club they could have blocked you without him knowing out of spite or to keep you out of competition on a bow that they want. This seller has about 1000 more bear bows. It is one of the 2 biggest collections I am aware of and the crazy thing is that he is not really a student of the game, just a Bear nut. Jim

That bow sold for $449. Nice bow but a hefty price.
