Title: Helical fletching guide?

Been going thru dads archery stuff (owned an archery shop back in the 60's) and found a couple of jigs that are used to set the helical fletch degree.  Marked Bitzenburger. Never saw them before.  Are they a common item?

Bitzenburger jigs are still made in Grand Ledge , Michigan. Or are you talking about a jig to use with the jig? Do you have a pic?

Its made out of aluminum about 10" long, has a nock end cut in and a degree gage on it. On another site someone said it was used to set up several Bitz jigs at one time to the same degree.  They have a Biztenburger logo on them.

OK! thats what I thought after a fasion. They are just that. You can set up one jig and then move the tool to the other jigs and set them the same way. Faster than adjusting the jigs one ata a time.

Yes they are used to set several jigs to match.. especially handy for the big Lazy Susan setups many shops used in years gone by..
