Sitting around today ( day off) and I pulled out some old George Snell arrows, just to fondle them and look at the old broadheads, I love the old barbed points.
Well low and behold I noticed that one had a pin in the ferrule, I hadnt noticed that before.
It pays to once in awhile to go back and look again. (http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x295/photos4work/3broadheads.jpg)

Ok Ted, tell us what it is!

All three are George Snell broadheads, George was a bowyer and arrow maker as well as a few broadheads,
he was one of the early pioneers in the St. Paul MN.area.
There is a great article on him in Instinctive Archer magazine ( man I miss that mag.)
Fall 1997 called " In my grandfathers day " by Hank Curtis. ( see Robs dvd)
The funny part and the gist of this post was that I have had this for a long time and never noticed that there was a pin in the one on the right.
If you really look at the one on the left you will see that the ferrule of that one is brass, I have never seen a Snell broadhead of brass other than this one.
