Friend just called and said he just bought the following:
Bear Kodiak Special
Serial # 2ZA27R
69” 37#
He said it had green glass and that it looked light green in color…what does he have? Said it looked to be in good shape just dirty…going to clean it up. I stated I knew a good person to refinish it if he needed…WHIP I might be giving you a call.

Get this…paid $3 at a garage sale from two older ladies. That wasn’t a typo…$3!
I told him the other day to look around for stuff like this!

Left the same message over on the powwow but it's a 61 or 62. The 61 will be zebrawood riser the 62 rosewood.

Sounds like a 62, I have one and it is a great shooter. Probably just needs a good cleaning, in any case he got a good one.

3 bucks, no doubt he could more then quaduaple his money but I would have thoughts about going back to ask questions in regard to the of history of the bow and give them a few more bucks. Those old ladies would get a thrill and could probably use it. But then again that's just me and I guess I'm just envious. Good score on your part!!!!!!

It's a '62 if the Rosewood is correct. I now am the proud owner of the bow!
I will post some pictures of it later...it's in awesome shape!
Thanks,
