Digging through the attic I found an old take down bear recurve. It looks like it is an "A, B, and C" model where the riser length determines the draw weight. Cat # 2177 Model "C?"
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any history on this bow. It says it was made in 1970, but it also says Canada on it.
Please let me know if I've got something.
Thanks,
Bow loser

The Canadian patent is present on all Bear bows 1953- mid 1972. I sent you a link in a PM with a bit of info and registration of Bear C risers.

Yours is a C model, the longer version. Generally used as target bow. If you have interest in selling, let me know.

What is a bow like that worth John? It seems to be in perfect condition. Thanks,

Todd,
Not allowed to discuss values on this forum. I sent you a PM in regard to where you can get an indication though.
