-
Nice bow! all I got at the flea market today was wet feet and mud :(

Nice day of shopping. I love the 61 KS with the zebrawood riser.

I have 2 Zebrawood Kodiak specials.,One still has the origional feather rest on it.
-
I thought mine was a add on because it is red until I saw a catalogue picture.
Even a tattered featherrest will do the job better that shooting off the shelf, and I shoot most of my bows off the shelf.
One of the things I look for on these bows is that the original featherest is there. Just one indicator that the bow was not really shot all that much over the 50 years it has existed.

I am thinkin that Photobucket may still not have all the issues sorted out. I turned the pic 90 degrees but the img code did not change.
Aw, I know why, user error.
Nope, still gotta be a glitch in the system.

I'll try to get a picture on.

I am supposed to have shrink picture on but my pictures look to be pretty large also. Its 47# Right handed..
-
And I though mine had nice zebrawood. That may be the nicest I have even seen.
You think any manufacturer today would market a mid priced bow with a zebrawood riser.
As long as the pics are less than 640 wide they are good, trouble with mine is the width.
And yours has the original strike plate as well. Very impressive. That bow has seen very little use.

I'm thinking of parting with it.It is in very nice shape. It has a small crack that runs from the arrow shelf down into the grip.I really dont think its an issue as far as safety.
-
Rick, sounds like a exceptional day!
I think the first bow shown is a Kokiak deluxe, the Kodiak special deluxe were generally longer with different grip insets. Wades ID guide should show the differences.
All good though, as the K deluxes are more sought after.
-
Part of the decal is gone but under the Kodiak is has part of the special there.I will check out the Wades guide.
-
Found the Kodiak special ID guide
