I have come across a Bear butane stove and lantern and was curious if any of you Bear experts can provide any information on them, such as when they were in the Bear Catalog. These are the only Bear stove & lantern that I have ever seen.
Here is a photo:

Thank you!

Ray you know I hate that word expert......it makes it sound like I am looking for a job and I almost did not look at this thread for fear it was a job opening. You and I both know Ray that won't be happening any time soon.As for the heater and lantern I would start looking somewhere around 1972-73 maybe somewhere in there.Geeszus those are so cool.Pappy lighten your way and keepen your butt warm on a cold night in high mountians.........gives me chills bd

Okay, Don. There are several guys who frequent here whom I consider "experts" on Bear stuff because they know so much about Bear stuff. However, I do not want to put anyone off who might read the title, so I have edited the title.
By the way, are you using your computer? Does this mean that you are back up-and-running?
