I carry 4 thinking of 3,you?
Generally 3 plus some blunts, in case squirrels attack. :biglaugh:
3 plus one blunt or judo
I've been carrying 6 in my cat quiver but I want to start carrying less broadheads and 1 or 2 blunts
2 broadheads and 2 fluffs
I like to have 3 broadheads for big game and one for small game. On a camping trip I will have some more at camp.
three broadheads, one blunt.
4 and 1 judo.
3 & 1 judo
:wavey:
:archer:
5 arrows w/ broadheads and one with judo for stumpin'
got 4 WWs in my eagles flight and a judo using selway piggy backers
3 BH 1 judo 1 field point
3bh 1fp
3 arrows w/broadheads.
4 WWs and 2 judos in my Catquiver. Why 4? I haven't a clue. I hope I never need that many.
Ed :archer:
4 plus one Judo. The way my season is going I haven't needed any.
I'd feel naked with only three broadheads while hunting.
My bowquiver holds six arrows and I fill it with broadheads... keep a Judo in a spare arrow clip.
Lots of things can happen when hunting and I like to be prepared. I don't hesitate to fling a broadhead or 3 at squirrels when deer hunting...or rabbits or coons or woodchucks, etc.
Call me an opportunist, call me an optomist/pessimist, but don't call me out of arrows!! ;)
4 Bh and 2 Ace Hex heads
i carry only 3 when hunting here in new zealand but while i was state side i had a quiver full. LOL!!!! not that i used them
As many as I can get in my pockets! :biglaugh:
It depends on which quiver I'm toting, but usually 4+2
2-3 BHs and 3 field points. If I'm in a stand, I take a field point shot now and then. Helps me range and keeps the body parts stretched out. My oldest son nailed a squirrel one morning, then a bit later watched a Bob Cat run by and snatch the tree rat, arrow and all.
On my normal trips localy I carry 3 and a blunt. If I'm on an extended trip (backpacking or drop camps out west) I carry 5 and a blunt.
3 broadheads, 1 blunt, 1 judo point.
RonP
As many as I can hold in my back quiver. Just never know what might need to get an arrow thrown at it! I like to shoot while hunting and this gives me that freedom without worrying about running out of arrows. Can't forget a couple judos too for stumping. Matt
If I'm using my back quiver then I split it even on two sides with as many BH's & blunts as I can carry.
If my side quiver, then 4 & 3.
Two and a judo. If I miss 'em twice and the judo don't kill him :) ...it's time to go back and drink coffee.
Ferret never carries more than one (with an osage selfbow)..thats confidence!!!
My bow quiver holds 5, so I go with two broadheads and 3 nutters. I'm not up for carrying out more than 2 deer in a day. I just screw my field points down on a washer for nutters, so I use them for stumpin' too.
Backquiver- 5 BH, 2 tarantulas, 1 nutter
Asbell tipe quiver- 4 BH, 1 judo, 1 tarantula
3 boradheads, 2 blunts
During deer season - 4 +2 blunts. Else 2 +4 blunts.
Usually 3,somtimes 4 depending on the quiver I decide to use.
4...If a squirrel attacks, I'll use a broadhead. The squirrels around here are tough. Ask Mussatto. He's got pictures.
I'm still waiting for the Ferret to chime in on this one.
3-4 BH...1-2 judo, depends on amount of hog sign.
Backquiver, 8bh, 4 blunts, and either 2 HTMs or 1 judo. I tend to go nuts when I call in coyotes with my deer call.
Wow,, I am abnormal..
On the Widow,Fred Bear 7 arrow quiver.. 5 broadheads, 2 judos!
On the Fox Longbow , 4 broadheads, 1 judo, and I feel short ..
I have never shot that many but..
4 magnus,2blunts, 2flu-flus with blunts
Did carry 4, but ran out shooting at a doe (17 yards, fading light, and had a face mask on that dont practice with).....no, the face mask wasnt on backerds! I learned alot that day, practice with a mask or dont use on, im limited by light, and CARRY MORE ARROWS!
I forgot PICK A SPOT!!!
Depends on what I'm hunting usually 3 and a Judo, sometimes 4..
Five broadheads, no blunts. When I hunt deer, hogs, javelina, turkey, I hunt them. When I hunt small game, I don't have broad heads.
I,m going to have to go with Charlie and company on this one. a whole bunch in my back quiver, I hunt deer unless I spy a badger or a coyote or a coon or a pheasant or turkeys, finally got my two turkeys this fall, and I hate to admit it but I did lose several to turkeys, three to badgers, badger chewed two up before kicking the bucket.
It all depends on what I'm hunting and which quiver I have. But generally speaking, anywhere from 3 to 5.
It varies a lot lately.
I used to have a 6 arrow Selway and I had 6 broadhead tipped arrows with two arrows with judos on Selway piggybackers.
My reasons for that were I am one that always trys to be prepared for any eventuality/ If I became logistically misplaced(Marines don't get lost) and had to live off the land for a time more arrows would be a good thing.
Three broadheads, one Ace blunt. Only once have I had to whip out that third broadhead (same young, stupid deer), and I am embarrased about that.
ChuckC
4 broadheads but only one arrow. :biglaugh:
J/K. 4 arrows with broadheads, one with hexhead. We can kill two deer a day in most of VA so that's two shots per deer.
How many broadheads to I carry?....
Enough I guarantee ya!!!
Yeah, I carry a judo, or a small game Bhead, but I got a quiver full, and more in my pack, and more in the truck.
Like Charlie said, I can shoot a razor sharp Zwickey Delta 4 blade at a squirrel any time I want to...but I can't shoot a deer with a judo. :D
I love big back quivers!!!!!!! especially shooting tree rats!!! :)
5
3 arrows w/broadheads.
my thunderhorn bow quiver holds six and I put 4 broadheads and 2 magnus blunts for squirrels/bunnys
2 broadheads, 2 arrows...
