I took my boy to the outdoor range yesterday. He was shooting a 1969 little bear, and I had my 71 Kodiak hunter. My son shot for about 20 min which is 15 more than I thought he would then he went to play in the dirt with some sticks I figured what heck and joined him. We chucked sticks like spears at various targets in the woods.

I am about to embark on a great adventure this weekend with four or maybe five shooters, two sisters and two boys, age 14 and 16 and maybe one of their friends. We are gonna spend the weekend learning all we can together about traditional archery.
I will take lots of pics and post some.
If we are serious about growing the sport we have to look to the future and the future starts right here. I loved to fling arrows when I was young and most kids do.
