Any of you guys been lucky enough to see Fred Carty's target bow collection up in Vermont? I have never seen anything like it. He has every bow from the magic target bow era in the top of the line models and custom jobs also. I bought the Staghorn Classic from him years ago...its the only I've ever seen, since sold it. If he could let that one go, you can imagine what he's got!!!
Norm Richards, Tellum, Staghorn,Bud Hit, Wing, etc, etc., hes got EVERYTHING.

fact is Numpls was here at my house over the weekend and we talked about Fred who by the way is not doing to good right now and if you got his home phone number just take a minute and call the old bird to say hello and talk bows.Ray told me to make sure and call this week and maybe we can chipper up the old goat. He's a fine man and one of the all time greats in our sport.
Oh yeah yes he does have one fine collection of no I have not seen it in person but I do have several Fred Carty shooting video's and I have had the fine pleasure of shooting a few rounds with he and Terry at Denton hill in the late 1990's.He is an outstanding shot with bow and arrow bd

Whale Roper! How are ya?
Yeah, he's felt better. I talk to him several times a week. He used to consistently shoot into a styrofoam coffee cup at 60+ yards from his porch, no sights, with a 26 pound target bow just 5 or 6 years ago. Taught my kids some key lessons while we were there.
GREAT guy.

Somebody who knows him needs to visit and take a good digital camera and document his collection so we can all benefit. Thanks for your help. I would love to see his collection.
