wow, now this one is unique! it is ALL GLASS, very few markings except for an arrow pointing down that says glass Paul Bunyan. FG is above the arrow, and something 50 is below it- I gather it is a 50# bow. The limb tips appear to be some kind of poly one piece units that are glued on.
pics are attached- ignore the "improvised camo stripes" which were put on in green electrical tape probably before I was born! :D

Looks like the 600 model. They also made a 300,100 and a SCOUT that I know of.Some had rectangle sticker with white tips. Does yours have the leather, or the plastic grip? Have six or seven of these, but don't know where they were made. Plyflex made a very similar bow to the Paul Bunyan's

its leather, it is in pretty rough shape. any idea on string length?

On that bow a string 4 inches less than the length of the bow should work. By the way the FG stands for fiber glass, they spelled it with two words when that bow was made.

got a 57" string for her today which gives me a 7 & 5/8th" brace height- shot it today for the first time, WOW what an awesome feeling bow! I have never shot a long bow before but it felt great! @ 50+ pounds you can really feel the power~ pulled out the bow square and placed a nock on the string, then it got dark! lol..... really looking forward to shooting it tomorrow.
almost makes me want to buy a Bear montana longbow to go with my Kodiak hunter!
