Title: Bear Tigercat with Orange tips??? (Pics added)
Post by: P.W.Smith on December 12, 2010, 07:39:00 PM
Hello all....
i recently came into ownership of a 1964-65 (according to the database), Bear Tigercat, marked at 45lbs, with a Zebrawood riser, aluminum? bear coin, white glass, and solid Orange tip overlays..... serial #3BM126...
What can y'all tell me about this specific bow?
good shooter? anything rare about it?
Thank you for your time....!

The serial number should be a 1964. Is it yellow glass?

i think it could be called "yellow" -but looks more of a creamish.... it probably is yellow, but has aged a little bit....
it is, surprisingly enough, still in almost mint condition....!

The catalog says yellow glass and brown tips. I love tigercats, they shoot great.

The Tigercat, Bearcat and Alaskan are all very nice shooting bows and can still be found at a very reasonable price. Nice bows Larry!  Thanks for posting.

Those 62" Tigercats have been very tempting to me.  I don't own one....yet....

Thanks Ceme
It would be nice if Mr. Smith could get a picture up of his Tigercat. Creamish White glass, Zebrawood and Orangey Red tip overlays sounds like a nice looking bow.
