Recently picked this up and with a little TLC it has come around to be a nice little hunting bow. 58" 55#. Would anyone know how old the bow is and the kind of wood in the riser and limb tips? From what I can find, Shakespeare stopped making bows somewhere in the mid 70's. Hi Mr. T
Interesting the tie in with Bear Archery and Owen Jeffrey. I was thinking that it looked like a mid to late 60's Grizzly as I was working on it. Apparently this bow was made sometime between 1976-79. The pictures on the link appears now to be deleted.
Thanks for the direction.........
