Title: Can you Identify this Bow?
Post by: Bigkid on October 20, 2010, 10:41:00 PM
I bought this bow on that Auction site a few years back and I have looked at numerous bowers to try to find out who made this bow and a rough Year. I have asked a member on Here and he was stumped as well.

So here are the Pics that describe it best, Nothing was said in the listing and I liked the looks of it that is why I own it.

this is the only Name on the Whole Bow!

Looks like just an ordinary old bow that is not worth owning. Send it to me and I will get rid of it for you.LOL

On a more serious note I would guess it might be a Ben Pearson as they often used horse names for their bows. There are others on here who know far more about Pearson bows than I ever will and hopefully one of them will come along soon.

I'd say Ben Pearson as they did have a Stallion model. Length should be 60", weight 49# and the year would be late 1950's is my guess based upon design and glass color.

Do you have a picture of the whole bow-profile? Suspect it will be semi-recurve or what is commonly called reflex/deflex these days.

I don't think that bow is a BP they never made a straight handle model in the Stallion bd

The company that still makes a Stallion bow is Quinn's Archery.

these aren't probably the best Full Bow pics but they are what is handy. I haven't been here all week been busy with Life.

Oh I am one with the Hat on shooting, and that is "The Stallion"

Ok,

any one know who actually made this Bow, The year isn't much of a factor I would love to find out who made it.

Don't know...But the good looking hot chick holding the Lady Mercury is my wife.

The ugly old fart behind her is me.

Don't know why you didn't ask me Bryan.  I coulda told you that ain't a Ben Pearson.  Ben Pearson Stallion has integral Stabalizers.
