Anyone know how rare these are? I believe the 60" was only offered the one year by special order.

Don't see them often. I have a 45#@26". They shoot great.

They come around once in a while mine is 41#@26, don't recall other years off hand.

well said guys I do not have one but have owned a couple and they are great shooters.Kind of rare kind of not rare inbetween. The last one I had was one of Val's bows and it was only 36# @ 26".I believe Glenn killed the huge bull moose in Canada with the same year I'll have to try and find the draw weight that was on Gleen's bow.Great shooters bd

Thanks fellas, I just made a string for it and I'm about to find out how it shoots. Needs a little TLC but should make a nice addition to my little collection.

Although I have several Bears from the fifties I need to admit, this is the oldest bow in my stable I have ever shot. What have I been thinking? That thing shoots great! Now I have a pile of others to try. Not certain about the compass bows but the 55-60 Kodiaks are going to send some arrows down range.

Jack- I have 6 various '55-57 kodiaks and specials
and they all shoot great with good speed, light weight in hand. I am looking for a 60"er to add to the mix. congrats on a great bow. Dick

I have only seen a few 60"ers, and would love to have one to go with my 68" and 64" models. Both are great shooters.

I was a little reluctant to pull the 60" Special all the way back to my full draw. I short drew it and was still stacking arrows right where I was looking at a close fifteen yard distance. I will say it is a sweet shooting bow.
Probably gave too much for it as I see I could have bought a new one for ten dollars more. That is, if this were 1956.
