Title: Hoyt Pro Medalist
Post by: ckanous on July 27, 2010, 08:22:00 PM
I just found a nice lookin Pro Medalist with an aluminum riser. Don't know alot about them but I have read some stuff and it don't seem to be worth alot. The problem I have is its a lefty and I'm a righty. I can get it for 125 with 2 sets of limbs, now can I find a right handed riser reasonable to go with these limbs or what?

What kind of limbs? The limbs alone should be worth 125......stabow

The limbs may be interchangeable with a right hand riser.  If so, I would grab it.

As Stabow stated, the limbs alone are worth that.

Otherwise you could consider getting it in hopes of selling it to a lefty.

Personally, I love the old one piece wood riser original Medalist, but have no interest in the newer takedowns. but then that is personal choice.

As far as what they are worth, if it is worth that to you, it is worth it...if not...
