Please inform me on these limbs-what makes them so special/rarer than other white tipped limbs? Where these the first limbs made?

Kelly- The dimpled phenolic wedges were the first limbs built. According to Don (Bowdoc) and some others I have spoken with, these limbs differed from subsequent models in that they were built one limb at a time while later editions were built in one peice and tillered much like a one piece bow and then seperated in the middle, the wedges shaped and finished out. Rather than having a riser where it would be on a conventional bow, the limbs were connected by an extended wedge block. Bear briefly explains that method in the film "Rt. 1 Grayling." I have heard of occasinal tiller problems with the first run dimpled models and the set I currently own is noticeably positive tillered on my old Style I riser but it shoots great and I love'em even though I'm currently using limbs built for me by Brandon Stahl on that riser.
