Different topic to the usual "What year was my Bear bow made".
I used to own a used one in 1969-1971 but I long since traded it away. I picked this one up recently and according to a website I visited it probably is a '66-'68 model. The '69 model had a solid riser and some sort of plastic I beam.
Built by Ernie Root who later became a bowyer for Shakespeare Archery. It's 62" and 50# and very solid and stable shooter. Mine has brown glass but my old one had dark green glass. The catalogue just says "dark glass back and belly". I had been looking for one similar to my old one for nostalgia's sake and this in a nice example. I've always loved the butcher block riser and I beam effect.

Nice find! Looks like a beauty! I know you have been looking for one for quite some time and it appears it has been worth the wait.
