Anyone familiar with this straight limbed longbow by Root called the Target King? It is 68" and 39# with green glass back and reddish brown glass belly.

OK, I know... :p it's an ugly bow. You guys are just too nice to say it, huh? ;) I learned a little about Root bows and this is a 55 or 56 model.

I grabbed a few 1916's and spend about an hour shooting the hay bales today with the Root, and I am very impressed. Bow had very little shock and sent the arrows right where I was looking. It also was deadly quiet with a very unique "thump" sound I had never heard before.
This ugly thing is getting better looking every day.
