Title: What colors did Bear use in their stringss in 1969?

I am getting a 69 Kodiak Hunter and I believe it is Shedua w/white overlay/tips. I assume the string was an endless loop? Colors? Thanks

I remember white, black, or yellow endless loop linen strings. Black had black serving, the yellow had green serving and the white could be red, green, brown, orange. There were likely many variants.

These were Bear strings that I bought at the Navy Exchange in Norfolk for my bows, and one that was on my boyfriend's Bear Grizzly. The Grizzly had the black string, the bow was a 1970.

AKM- Killy is pretty correct about the colors, however the strings were dacron in '69  (and had been for a long time)- the colors were white, black, and a salmon color that was pretty cool and usually had od green serving but occasionally black- the serving was still all braided at that time as opposed to the mono filament center serving used later.  GY
