A friend is sending a 1963 dogleg grizzly to me that he wants me to sell, with the proceeds going to sticshooter to help with his medical bills.
I am wondering what a good value for this bow might be. I don't have pictures yet, but have been told it is in near mint condition. It is a type II, 55# @ 28"
Any idea what a good fair value might be for a bow like this?

on a Grizzly Joe I would say 150.00 250.00 right now pending on condition more then anything that one has a good draw weight of 55# which is a good selling point.I've seen them sell in the 350.00 ish range a time or two also bd

Thanks BD. That's kind of what I was thinking. Good weight, and it's going for a great cause which should help a bit too. I'll see what she looks like when it arrives.

For that weight - around $250 if in good condition, though like BD says, there have been some crazy ones that went higher over on fleabay.

yes guy's I did look at a couple notes I have and one listed a dog leg Griz that sold for 380.00 and some change. But that was a one shot deal I've not seen another sell at that price since bd

Take really good pics and end the auction on Sun evening east coast time-that usually helps.
You should do well with that bow.

I received the bow yesterday and listed it for sale in the classifieds here.
