My girlfriend and I went to her parents cabin in Potter county, Pa for a long weekend. Since her fathers passing, the family has decided to sell the place. One day, we got to pokin around and I found two trad bows. One was a nice lookin longbow with no markings on it. The other was an old Bear Kodiak. We were wondering if any of you Bear collectors could tell us how old it is. I took pics of it, but they're prints, so I can't post them. Here are the numbers off it. 64", 46#, then, #DY923. it has some sort of light colored wood, maybe maple? And black glass on the limbs. It is in beautiful shape, with a leather looking grip on it. Can any of you folks help?

try posting in the trad history and collecting forum. Might get a little more help there.

Sounds like a 1957 Kodiak to me if it has one arrow shelf. If it has two it would be 1956. Very nice find.

Reddogge is more than likely right on all counts; and post it in the collector section too.
Pics would be good to have.
